Dr. Clayton Anderson, DC, CME

 

Dr. Anderson was raised on a dairy farm in Ellsworth, WI. As a high school student, he was a member of the choir and played trombone in the concert band. He participated in student council, drama and theater and was an FFA Officer. Dr. Anderson also achieved varsity letters in track and field, football and wrestling. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where he majored in Health and Human Performance. While in college, he was a linebacker for the Falcon football team and remained active in community theater productions.

 

In 2009, Dr. Anderson enlisted in the US Army as a combat medic. He received awards for physical fitness and academic achievement. He also excelled in the areas of marksmanship and land navigation. After one year of service, Dr. Anderson was selected through the Special Forces Assessment and Selection process to attend the JFK Special Warfare Center and School. He received specialized training in leadership and small unit tactics before voluntarily withdrawing from the course.  He remained at Fort Bragg, serving the rest of his enlistment as a combat medic in the renowned 82nd Airborne Division. After one tour of duty to Afghanistan, he received an honorable discharge from the military.

 

He continued his education at Northwestern Health Sciences University. While attending Northwestern, Dr. Anderson finished his football career playing two seasons for the Northbank Bulls minor league football team. He completed his internship at Robert Street Chiropractic in West St. Paul while working nights and weekends as an automotive mechanic. The idea for Blue Collar Chiropractic was born during those days employed in skilled and manual labor. 

 

Blue Collar Chiropractic was officially opened in August 2018. Dr. Anderson is also currently employed at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center as a member of the Surgery Center’s administrative staff.  He enjoys helping other veterans and taking an active role as an advocate for their health and benefits.  He and his wife Alaina have been married for over 10 years and reside in Inver Grove Heights.

I will never subject anyone to gimmicks, high-pressure sales, extensive treatment plans or anything else that is not congruent with this mission statement. I pledge to improve and maintain the integrity of human structure and function without compromising my own integrity as a physician and a professional.
